I feel as though I should get an acoustic guitar so I can attempt to write songs easier, saves me untangling my jack (which I have now broke). An acoustic would make it easier for me to quickly get an idea out into song form. All the ideas I have came up with seem to leave my head before I can get my guitar plugged in.
Well if I decide to get an acoustic guitar it will just add to my expenses. right now im saving the £380 for the Dearmond M75-T, the another £75 on an electric violin (because my acoustic violin isn't full sized... and electric violins are cooler), I may add another £250 onto that for a BC Rich Virgo bass guitar, and now the acoustic guitar. I think I'll leave it after the violin.

Acoustic Guitar?
Wednesday, 16 November 2011
Oh Crap!
Brilliant just bloody brilliant, the wires on my guitar tuner have snapped so I can't use it to tune my guitar, when i asked our music teacher to tune it it just kept slipping out of tune. Now I have a busted tuner and a guitar which is being a pain in the arse. Thankfully my amp isn't broken my jack was, I had a spare so I've plugged that in instead, and dumped the broken jack on my pathetic "friend" Danny.
I even have to re-resit a maths test tomorrow and I honestly don't remember anything that I did in year 9, so I think I'll be failing that. The only reason I have to re-resit is because the last time my results weren't taken down and the time before I was on holiday in Corfu (very nice place, go there if you get the chance. If you do go drop by La Palma and say Ayup).
I also have a really annoying social problem going on, well it's not really a problem it's still extremely annoying. Either way the people involved are informed and aware about what is going on in my head, hopefully they can make sense of it all and sort my life out.

Squealies
Now that I'm done with my geography detentions I can concentrate on my graphics detentions. Oh joy! Any way that's actually two subjects off my back because I realised that Imogen is six times better at singing than playing the bass guitar (and she's barely average at singing). this means instead I can teach Dana bass and she is willing to learn it as well.
Squealies are really what I wanted to talk about because I've now worked out roughly how to do them but I can't yet get them done quickly there is about a second delay between the initial note until it becomes a squealy, or pinch harmonic if you prefer. I ended up rushing from my geography lesson to the music practise room at lunch just to claim it before anyone else can, which involved saying no to Jazz, and when I got my guitar and got in to find the EPIC amplifier I was using earlier still there someone else came in then left because I beat him. I connected my Lodgestone guitar to the amp and started playing "pumpkinpatch murders" by "Blitzkid" and after god knows how many tries I hit the squealy in the intro and it sounded so epic with the effect of the amp (it was all a bit high pitched made it sound like stereotypical metal, a bit like "3 Inches of Blood") and I was very impressed with that.
Overall it was a good day too.
