Sorry

Tomorrow is my deadline for recording a song and uploading it somewhere so you can hear it, at the time it never occurred to me that my mic is absolutely terrible, nor did it occur to me that a "decent" mic would be so damn expensive, so unfortunately I have failed my task. However, don't get excited, I'm not going to set my balls on fire because I'm too much of a wimp, instead I'm going to sit and sulk, and browse eBay for a cheaper mic to buy, and then I may record something.

The Bard

I had a brilliant idea that I should buy a Lute and be a bit of a bard... then i discovered that a Renaissance lute is about £900

 Well bang goes that idea. So my next thought after about 2 hours looking at lutes was to go with the slightly more modern approach and spend £45 on a mandolin. With that i can play random chords and sort of sing about whatever is happening around me.

Almost Correct

My skateboard came, so me and Dana walked down to the tar-maced section of the tracks so she could laugh when I fell off, which I did on many occasions. The only time I fell off and hurt my self was when I attempted an ollie, I had almost the right idea about how its done, my only problem was that I didn't snap my board back hard enough to launch me into the air. The strange little avatar on the deck must of had a troll face at that point. I didn't get very far when actually skating either, but at least I tried.

Threads

I have recently viewed to absolutely ridiculous threads on forums.

Number 1 was some 12 year old kid wanting some girls to add him on skype because he couldn't be bothered to get a girlfriend any other way, so he just asks the people on planetminecraft.

Number 2 was someone wondering if animals felt emotion. We are animals and we feel it, and evidently he/she has never seen a dog in his/her life (they're always happy, how often do you find a depressed dog?), so they thought instead of searching for a dog they should just ask the people on goodreads.

Is this how low humanity has sunk? Damn. Now if you don't mind I'm going to go make Spaceman Cometh make sense.

Damn

I've just read through all my previous blog posts, and I've realised that the entire thing is filled with bad grammar. this isn't good news at all considering I was planning on doing A-Level English. I guess I'll have to pay more attention to what is written and put more thought into it.
On the upside I've improved the little riff which was giving me problems, The only problem is the way I've done it means I need to get better at singing while playing (especially since I'll be rapping while playing in the Year 11 Concert).
As a side note: rainbows are wonderful, YAY!

Distractions

I have been doing very little musically related recently instead I have been playing Minecraft and trying to get friends to go on a walk with me. When I succeeded in getting Dana to join me on this walk I ended up extremely embarrassed (which is unusual for me but I have good reason), what happened was somewhere down Biddulph Valley Way I turn around and see a man running wearing a white jumper and Lycra trousers, and from 20 metres (which is roughly how far apart we were from each other) and with my bad eyesight I say "Hey, it's my dad." because they look exactly alike at the time my dad has that jumper and those trousers. Then he runs past and says "Bet your embarrassed now." and I was embarrassed very embarrassed and Dana is in laughing her head off. Not the most productive walk I've been on, especially when I realised that my dad wouldn't be back from work until about 22:30 so I just generally failed.
What little I have done on guitar is learn the intro to falling apart by Zebrahead and the first parts of Halo Mjolnir Mix by Martin O'Donnell. So not much basically now I shall fix the tabs since they didn't print properly and then check that my guitar is in tune, I have ordered a clip on guitar tuner to make this easier.
